As the worst bush fires in a decade ravage NSW this week, we’re reminded of the danger, destruction and death that fire brings when we get to close, turn our backs and underestimate it.

Conversely, something we rarely think about consciously, fire (the sun) is what breathes life into our planet, fuels the air we breathe, kissed our skin, warms us, is responsible for our growth and makes us happy on a daily basis.
We appreciate the sunset, warmth on our skin and it’s rays but rarely think about it as a fiery burning ball of gases in a constant state of explosive combustion that kills everything close to it.

Sometimes the most destructive things in our world are also the most beautiful.
